Windshield Wiper Replacement for Sagaponack drivers

A blade must fit the arm and clear the glass properly. A wiper that will not move needs a different check from worn rubber.

Service at our shop: 1325 Wickham Avenue, Mattituck, NY 11952

About this service

Wipers are small parts with an outsized job: keeping vision clear in coastal rain and spring pollen. Streaking, chattering and cracked rubber mean a blade is no longer doing that job, and replacement is straightforward.

Signs to have checked

Streaks or uncleared areas remain across the glass
Chattering or skipping as the blades travel
Cracked, torn or separated blade rubber
A front or rear blade no longer clears the glass effectively

What the visit can involve

Review of blade condition, size and attachment for the vehicle
Replacement of the requested blades with suitable fitment
A separate recommendation if poor clearing involves an arm, washer or operating fault

Common questions

Can you include the rear wiper in my request?

Yes. Specify front, rear or both when requesting the service. Rear blades can use a different size or fitting, so vehicle details help confirm the required parts.

Will new blades fix wipers that stop moving?

No. An operating problem can involve the linkage, motor or electrical controls. Tell the shop whether the blades move at all and which speeds work so the correct concern is evaluated.
